Miser & Now is a quarterly visual arts magazine, incorporating fine art, photography, film and video games as cultural entities. Encompassing progressive discussions on contemporary culture. Each issue is based on a relevant cultural theme; issue 01 was ideas based around the notion of collage; issue 02 dealt with the theme of Oblique Strategies. Issue 3 covers the Future as Nostalgia.
Art Director Christian Küsters has based his design of the first issue on the magazine's theme, collage, and also the monetary notions conjured by the word miser. Küsters has drawn on his collection of bank notes from around the world to create backgrounds for the issue. Creative Review magazine, 02/2004
